Los Angeles, is 200km (125 miles)
from the Mexico border, it has one of
the states largest populations.
Connected by freeways it has sprawled
over much of Southern California, it's
made up of suburbs with no real
centre,the city started in the area now
known as downtown. Hollywood known
for it's film making business also
attracts a large number of tourist to the
area,In 1994 it was hit with an
earthquake. Los Angeles also has
several universities, aircraft
manufacturing , chemical and electrical
industries.

and $6.00us return, it runs every hour
from arrivals and takes you to Union
Station from there you can catch
buses, the LA tube and walk to
downtown.

Built on hills and between the San
Francisco bay and Pacific Ocean, It
started around a Spanish mission and
fort. From the gold rush it grew in to a
booming city, it's built on the San
Andreas fault. San Francisco is a
major port for the country along with
it's educational, financial and gay
culture's, it attracts some 2.5 million
tourists each year to ride the cable
cars, visit Fisherman's Wharf and dine
at the many restaurants from the
countries of Japan, china, Philippines,
Korea and Vietnam

Paradise in the south-east corner of
the Nevada desert. It began as a
Mormon settlement The city grew
rapidly in 1931, with the introduction of
gambling, in the same year the Hoover
Dam started ,it's famous colorful strip
which runs for 24 hours a day and has
some of the biggest hotels in the world.
