Los Angeles, is 200km (125 miles)
from the Mexico border, it has one of
the states largest populations.
Connected by freeways it has sprawled
over much of Southern California, it's
made up of suburbs with no real
centre,the city started in the area now
known as downtown. Hollywood known
for it's film making business also
attracts a large number of tourist to the
area,In 1994 it was hit with an
earthquake. Los Angeles also has
several universities, aircraft
manufacturing , chemical and electrical
industries.

and $6.00us return, it runs every hour
from arrivals and takes you to Union
Station from there you can catch
buses, the LA tube and walk to
downtown.

gambling, in the same year the Hoover
Dam started ,it's famous colorful strip
